GRANTEX welcomed the future and special guests at the MEET THE FUTURE event!

 

 

 

The MEET THE FUTURE event was a great success, where GRANTEX celebrated an important step towards innovation and competitiveness: the addition of state-of-the-art robotic equipment to its production process.

Under the Mayan Attica sky, Mrs. Maria Paschalidou, Vice President and Commercial Director of GRANTEX, welcomed the distinguished guests to the company’s premises to a future where robots dominate and humans are great! With the decisive contribution of the 150 employees who form the core of the company’s success in Greece and in 78 countries abroad and with the support of its robotic partners, GRANTEX is ready to conquer new markets and continue an exciting journey into a future where nothing can stop it!

Then, Mr. Thodoris Paschalidis, President and CEO of GRANTEX, stressed that this day is a celebration of renewal and evolution in the company’s course and said a few words about GRANTEX’s yesterday and tomorrow, its vision to dominate the domestic market and play a leading role in the global scene, as well as its commitment to sustainable development.

The speeches of the event were concluded by Mr. Konstantinos Fitsios, GRANTEX Plant Manager, who informed the attendees about the completion of the 2.000.000 euro investment, the most important part of which concerns the introduction of new automated technology in the production process with the use of robotic machines. This technological superiority, combined with the unlimited potential of human creativity, will increase productivity, reduce production costs and delivery times and further improve product quality, resulting in greater competitiveness and flexibility for the company.

The event was attended by representatives of the Government and Local Authorities, members of the business world, leading banking executives, representatives of important institutions and media, as well as partners, customers and friends of the company from Greece and abroad.

In particular, the event was graced with the presence of Mr. Kostas Fragogogiannis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for Economic Diplomacy and Externalisation, and Dr. Anastasios Mitakoudis, Head of the General Directorate of Industrial Infrastructure and Business Environment, representing the Ministry of Development, Mr. Vassilis Lolos, Vice-Regional Governor of the Western Sector of Athens, Mr. Lambros Sklavounos, Mayor of Egaleo, Mr. Georgios Tolis, Deputy Mayor of Egaleo, Mrs. Sofia Kounenaki-Efraimoglou, President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mr. Kostas Bakoyannis, former Mayor of Athens.

Mr.Frangogogiannis, Mr.Mitakoudis and Mr.Sklavounos welcomed the company’s initiative, stressing the importance of investments in technology and innovation for the development of the Greek economy, underlining that GRANTEX is an excellent example of how Greek companies can pioneer and excel at an international level.
