In addition to civilian applications, GRANTEX is actively engaged in the military sector, having established agreements with the Hellenic Army over the years for the supply of friction materials for its vehicles.

Significant implementations include the complete refurbishment of the braking systems for the tracked vehicles TORM1, Leopard 2 A4, and Leopard 2 A6 Hel. Apart from tracked vehicles, friction materials have also been produced for various personnel transport vehicles and firefighting aircraft such as the PZL used by the Hellenic Air Force.

Moreover, over the years, GRANTEX has successfully executed custom projects based on the specific requests of the Hellenic Army.
