GRANTEX S.A. is located in the Municipality of Aigaleo, Attica, on the street Terma Orfeos and has as its object of work the\u00a0 production of friction materials and marketing of automotive spare parts<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

2.\u00a0<\/span>LAWFUL PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA<\/span><\/p>

GRANTEX S.A., in compliance with the provisions of the European Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data (EU 2016\/679) and the relevant Greek legislation (Law 2472\/1997 as amended and in force), manages the Personal Data disclosed to it with the utmost care, ensuring, in all cases, their protection and privacy. In order to ensure the confidentiality and security of Personal Data, GRANTEX S.A. has taken all the necessary organizational and technical measures, drawing up internal security policies, using appropriate electronic means, informing and properly training its staff.\u00a0<\/span>GRANTEX S.A. processes Personal Data lawfully, as it collects and processes them exclusively for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and only to the extent necessary for the implementation of these purposes. The data that it keeps, it ensures that they are accurate and updated, seeking for this purpose the assistance of the data subjects, i.e. the natural persons to whom the data relate, and it keeps the data for as long as necessary for the implementation of the specific purposes.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span>GRANTEX S.A. collects and processes Personal Data, i.e. information relating to a natural person who is identified or can be identified from this information, regardless of whether the identification can be carried out directly or indirectly. Processing of such data means any operation carried out in relation to such data, whether or not by automated means.<\/span><\/p>

GRANTEX S.A. collects, processes and uses the Personal Data concerning you mainly when you visit the company’s websites, when you register on them, when you log in to an existing customer account or when you order products through the website.\u00a0 <\/span>The processing of Personal Data is carried out, as the case may be, in accordance with the applicable legislation and this privacy policy, or in accordance with the consent given by you. In some cases, data is used only in pseudonymous or anonymous form.<\/span><\/p>

4.1 Registration, login and ordering<\/span><\/p>

When you register and are logged in,\u00a0 <\/span>when you place an order or when you are logged in and attempt to place an order but do not complete it, we collect, process and use the personal data and information you provide to us within the framework of applicable personal data protection legislation. We may use product and service details when you attempt to place an order in order to contact you on the details you provided to us when you registered, in which case you provide us with your consent. The information we request from you in order to enable us to provide the services you require is marked as mandatory fields on the forms. Other information is optional. For the conclusion and performance of contracts, we request, as appropriate, contact information such as name, address for delivery and billing, and information about the payment method you have chosen. In addition, we make use of your data in our customer database that we maintain so that only the relevant data is stored there. In order to avoid typing errors and to ensure that the items you have ordered have actually been received by you, we check that the address you have entered is written in a complete and accurate manner. <\/span><\/p>

During the payment process, we do not record or store payment information during that transaction, such as credit card numbers or other banking and other information. You provide this information directly and exclusively to the respective payment service provider.<\/span><\/p>

GRANTEX S.A. stores and uses the Personal Data concerning you when you contact it by telephone, e-mail or through the contact form it maintains, or when you want to send us information in some other way and, therefore, you transmit your data to us for this purpose.<\/span><\/p>

In addition, we store and use personal data and technical information to the extent necessary to prevent and respond to any malicious use or other illegal behaviour on our website, e.g. to maintain data security in the event of attacks against our IT systems. Finally, we store and use your data to the extent that we are legally obliged to do so, for example in view of an official directive or a judicial or other decision by the authorities, as well as to safeguard our rights and claims and for cases of defence of the company before the courts.<\/span><\/p>

5.THIRD PARTIES TO WHOM PERSONAL DATA WILL BE TRANSMITTED<\/span><\/p>

GRANTEX S.A. may transfer these data to its affiliated companies within the European Union, which will process the data on behalf of GRANTEX S.A., as processors, solely for the purposes mentioned in clause 3. When transmitting the data, GRANTEX S.A. shall take all necessary measures to ensure the highest possible level of security. <\/span><\/p>

GRANTEX S.A. undertakes that these companies\u00a0 <\/span>provide the necessary safeguards for the protection of Personal Data and take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that the processing is lawful and to ensure the protection of Personal Data and the rights of the natural persons concerned. GRANTEX S.A. declares that it has signed contracts with these companies in advance, which include conditions relating to the adoption of security measures by these companies and the monitoring of these measures by GRANTEX S.A. \u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>

GRANTEX S.A. handles your requests with due care in order to ensure the security of your data and the protection of your rights. For this reason, \u00a0 <\/span>in case of doubt as to the person requesting the disclosure of Personal Data, we may ask you for additional information necessary to confirm your identity.<\/span><\/p>

In case GRANTEX S.A. is unable, due to a large number of similar requests, to satisfy your request immediately, it will inform you as soon as possible and, in any case, within a period of one month from the submission of the request.\u00a0 <\/span>the progress of the request and the reason for any delay in its satisfaction. If your requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular because of their repetitive nature, GRANTEX S.A. may either impose a reasonable fee, taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or of communicating or carrying out the requested action, or refuse to comply with the request. <\/span><\/p>
